The Mongol Rally was definitely set to be the highlight of 2009 (oh shit...eh bar the pending birth of my brother) but alas, it's just not gonna happen this year kids.

The jist of it is - 10,000 miles; London to Ulan Bataar in Mongolia over the course of about 5 weeks. Your car can be no larger than a 1litre engine. You've no support along the way. All in all, recipe for disasterous adventure. I will do it some year, without a doubt. Well yeah, with plenty of doubts, but I really do hope I do it some year. A year when my father is unable to 'forbid' me to do things.
